APPLICATION OF WIRELESS DADA ACQUISITION AND VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT TECHNIQUES IN MEASUREMENT OF COMBINE FEED QUANTITY
Measuring method of combine feed quantity has been an important question investigated by many experts home and abroad. The method which measures the combine feed quantity based on the extruding force is used in this paper. High-speed wireless dada acquisition system is quite suitable for the application situations which are difficult to install hard-wired data acquisition system, especially in agricultural engineering. This paper designs a high-speed wireless dada acquisition system and sets up the automatic measuring platform for combine feed quantity. The platform includes four parts: sensor, signal conditioning system, wireless dada acquisition and transfer system, and base system. On the base system, virtual instruments are developed using LabVIEW. The automatic measuring platform proposed in this paper combines the advanced computer techniques: wireless dada acquisition and virtual instrument, and thus it possesses excellent performance. A lot of experiment tests and platform simulated tests show that the measuring platform is able to satisfy the requirements of combine feed quantity measurement.
