Using Movie in Teaching Corporate Governance--Barbarians at the Gate as an Educational Tool
This paper uses Barbarians at the gate as an educational tool for teaching Corporate Governance in business department. Barbarians at the gate has been widely used in teaching Corporate finance in the United States and we suspect whether it can be used in teaching Chinese students as well. Students feedback shows that Barbarians at the gate can be made a powerful tool in teaching Corporate Governance and students love this way of learning. Educational use of multimedia means not only helps create learning-by-doing class environment, but provides students virtual experience that supplements textbooks.
