Empirical Research on the Relationship Between Corporate Governance and Operation Performance of Transport Enterprises
The relationship between corporate governance and firm performance is complex. In this paper the relationship between corporate governance and firm performance of transport enterprises are discussed. At first, literature overview is taken for the relationship between corporate governance and firm performance. Then the hypothesis of the relationship is established. The index system of corporate governance and operation performance are constructed. Factor analyses are taken to simplify the factor of operation performance. Correlation analysis and regression analysis are taken to the factors of operation performance and the index of corporate governance. Based on above analysis results, it is found that there are no clear correlation-ship between corporate governance and firm performance for transport enterprises. At last, some suggestions are provided for the performance improvement of transport enterprises.
