The Research on Relationships Among Corporate Governance Environment Uncertainty, Ownership Structure and Performance in Chinas International Enterprises
With the development of globalization, more and more researches focused on the corporate governance of international enterprises. As to the international enterprises, the external governance environment is more complex and uncertain, so the international enterprises have to face higher risk than domestic enterprises. Under the international context, this paper uncovered the relativity between international risk and international corporate governance environment. At the same time empirical analyses were conducted to test a structural equation model that hypothesizes more of the performance variance is explained when the ownership structure is aligned strategically with international corporate governance environmental factors. The results indicate that the international corporate governance environment uncertainty affects the ownership structure negatively, while there is a positive relationship between firms ownership structure and performance.
