Application of the Progressive Approach in Damage Localization of Plane-like Structure

Damage detection method based the static measured data and the application in the plane-like structures are studied in this paper.Static displacement curvature assurance coefficient (SDCAC) based on the grey relation theory is put forward for the damage localization.A numerical example of Two-fixed-end plane-like structure with single or multiple damages is used to examine the capability of the proposed method.The factors of measurement noise and incomplete test data are also discussed, the damage in the plane-like structure can be localized correctly through using static displacement curvature assurance coefficient,regardless of the number of measured displacement nodes.The result shows that the proposed method is effective to detect the damage location and extent The application of the grey theory to the structural identification own wide prospective.
