Approach to retirement among kindergarten teachers

This research focuses on the careers of kindergarten teachers as they near retirement in France. This is a major social concern because more and more teachers are retiring early despite incentives put in place to encourage them to work longer in order to finance retirement schemes. The purpose of this research is to get a better understanding of the approach of kindergarten teachers as they near retirement and the trade-offs that underpin their decision to retire. What factors determine their decision? Is the decision related to working conditions? What alternatives can be offered?
