THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE AGRICULTURE ERGONOMICS: A REVIEW OF LAST THE 30 YEARS
The goal of this study was to perform a literature review on research developed in agricultural work with focus on ergonomics. With the purpose of supporting the exploratory research, to select and to identify literature the Capes Portal was used as one of the tools of research through the Scopus, Scielo, Medline and Elsevier. The study was divided into topics using the structural model based on the article done by Jafry & ONiell (2000). The categories of analysis refer to the agricultural aspects that have basically given attention to the ergonomic studies, such as: environment and work organization; equipment design, tools and agricultural machinery; accidents, illnesses, and safety. By reviewing the studies we it can seen that although the context in discussion is vast, projects have been routinely developed over time. Considering this, the development of studies with new approaches will open new doors for agriculture ergonomics, resulting in the improvement of production, safety, and work efficiency.
