Ergonomics in the Technical Detail of the Project for Construction of a Control Center at an Oil Refinery
The objective of this paper is to introduce a project process model that considers the ergonomic aspects of project sub-systems at an oil refinery Control Center using the simultaneous engineering concept. It reports a practical experience that aims at contributing towards the discussion of control room design. This type of project is of unparalleled complexity and the paper introduces a holistic and systematized approach for detailing and for technical specifications of the diverse systems involved.
