Evolution of the ergonomist’s profession in France, from analysis of work to strategic consulting, differences in practices among ergonomists.
In this paper, we present some of the results of our doctoral research in ergonomics. In this work we are interested in the practice of collective intervention in ergonomics. We identified many differences in practice between ergonomists consultants in France. In this paper, we propose a synthesis of these differences to open up new opportunities for research training or on the collective dimension of the work of ergonomists consultants. We therefore present a model for understanding the work of ergonomists and their interventions. We list the necessary elements for understanding the work of ergonomists in order to improve ergonomists training and to understand the collective dimensions of their interventions more accurately.
