Breast screening: a vision supported healthcare training approach
The advent of breast screening using digital mammographic images means that potentially training in this domain can be undertaken using a wide variety of digital display devices as well as the high resolution workstation which is used in routine clinical practice. A study is reported which set out to investigate whether several possible training approaches based upon current visual examination practice in screening were feasible. These were found to be potentially useful.
