SELF REPORT ASSESSMENT OF MUSCULOSKELETAL DISCOMFORT OF A CORRUGATED SHEET AND CARTON SECTOR NDUSTRY WORKERS

The main objective of this study was to investigate the musculoskeletal discomfort of a corrugated sheet and carton sector Industry workers through a self report assessment. Nineteen workers were assessed from three different sector of a package industry. A self-report questionnaire was used to assess the musculoskeletal discomfort. The results point associations in the sense of shift work A and presents a tendency of complains in the left cervical segment, left shoulder, left scapula. In relation to the sectors, the associations founded were: right wrist, right trapezius muscle, right upper scapula, left gluteus. The relations between trapezius, upper scapula and gluteus presented the sector 3 as the most affected, follow by the sector 1 and sector 2. To the wrist segment theses relations were: sector 1 as the most affected, follow by the sector 2 and sector 3.
