THE ERGONOMIC MATURITY OF A COMPANY ENHANCING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ERGONOMIC PROCESS
The aim of this paper is to propose a framework for assessing the ergonomic maturity level in a company in order to map existing structures (organization charts), initially by examining indicators (organization displays) and proceeding to a comprehensive speech and analysis of contents (organizational benchmarks). Maturity concepts, currently related to both project management entrepreneurships and regular organizational processes are hereupon presented and discussed. After a brief methodological introduction regarding a conversational tool, a qualitative application model is set forth in three distinct organization types (service industry, moderate risk and severe risk - dangerous operations like nuclear power plants - industries). We conclude by evaluating the preliminary model application results and outlining a strategy for applying a similar version of the model in Ergonomic Design, straight from the beginning of a planning phase of every project.
