SURVEY OF PREVELANT RATE POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDERS IN EMERGENCY PEOPLE IN ONE HOSPITAL IN IRAN
A post traumatic stress disorder is a kind of stress in people who experienced an accident before which was very hurtful and disturbance. PTSD shall occur due to experiences like threaten, fears, bad news or accidents like war, natural disorders, sever collision and accident observing. Beside damaging ability this disease can affect conception of work place, community, family and relatives which contain job instability, matrimony problems, child training and divorce. This research in from of descriptive -analytic has done in one of the IRANs hospital which had high number of injured.36 people of emergency ward completed the application form (PTSD) and selected as sample (whole people are included). Also 30 people of other wards which had less contact with patient with injured selected as sample and completed the application form. Data analysis has done using SPSS 11.5 software, T-TEST and UNIVARIATE analysis of variance method. Analysis shows that PTSD prevalent in emergency people is higher than other occupants working in hospital and this rate in males is higher than females and rate will increase according the age independent of job experience. This survey shows that emergency occupants are imagine as people whom are exposed to affect the PTSD and need more especial attention to prevent of disease prevalent.
