Human Factor as Ecoefficiency Value

The architecture commitment to satisfy human beings space needs is renewed within the sustainability framework. It is not sufficient a benefit isolated for a single or for a community, without thinking about the global consequences to obtain this. Human activities hit to the ecology, and being construction one of the main polluting sources it is necessary to focus the attention towards the actions, tasks and activities with which the buildings are constructed. But considering that the human being is a person and not only a resource to fulfill the exigencies of time and cost in the project programs and execution. The traditional production model in architecture, as much by the decisions of project like by the affectations, during the stages of the process, entail to an intense resources and energy cost, also a generation of residues (solid, liquid and gases); during the elaboration and transport of products and its execution or assembly in the work, by the use of polluting materials and procedures. In architecture, viewed like a lean process, the person acquires importance in the value chain, since as client needs the satisfaction of requirements. Not to consider the requirements of the clients, as much as internal like external, is considered as waste. A not ergonomic factor can generate environmental impact. We find an opportunity at the Ergonomics, science for the relation between the human factor and the conditions of work studies. Our proposal sets out to find out how the ergonomic considerations influence in the environmental impact of the model of architectonic production, like part of the sustainable development. Criteria settle down to establish the Human Factor like value of ecoefficiency in the productive processes of the architecture.
