Functional and work capacity evaluation the subject of forensic analyses

The human functional capacity is very difficult, for it is multi-factorial. When we talk about human functionality, we have to consider the physical, intellectual and the socio-economic capacity so that we can define in what scale the individual being analyzed is. In order to obtain some parameters related to the quantification of the functional capacity of the expert, we have to follow some steps so as to minimize the errors. First we will identify the lesion segment or structure, in second place, we will apply functionality tests in order to quantify the time that the structure handles the stress in its maximum, after that we will do a time correlation between the maximum stress exposition and the functional capacity of work. This time is correlated to the total percentage, where 1 (one) minute over a biomechanical stress equals to 100% functional capacity structure, after realizing a temporal measurement of maximum stress and having achieved a temporal value, it is applied a correlation through the rule of three to obtain the percentage of the functional capacity work. This way, the industrial activities that have maximum injury risks, the expert, due to a present injury, will be 100% unable to work, on risky activities, for activities where the risks are moderate, the working time will be according to the test handled by the maximum overload test, and the rest of the working time will be in activities of minimum biomechanical risks. These situations will only be possible if the expert goes through a multi-professional appropriate and specific treatment.
