Applicability of Ergonomic Risk Management to Measure the Results of Performance and Quality of Life at Work

This study was performed in COCAMAR Agroindustrial Cooperative of Maringá, specifically in the industrial plant of cotton yarn manufacture and aimed to propose the deployment of an ergonomic management program to evaluate, quantify, deploy the proposals put forward suggestions for improvements, and monitor the performance of production and quality of life of workers. According to the methodology applied in relation to the macroergonomics point of view (the system) were studied: the organizational system of production and the flow of information and operational processes, identifying points of failure and burdens that interfere directly in industrial and human performance. As for attaching the microergonomics factors required for the design of the analysis of the workers interface with the process, the tests were found anthropometric, biomechanical and physiological, for each activity in the process, analyzing the human factors second gender, race and age, and the psychosocial factors of each group and between them. After the ergonomics tests was conducted and proposals to suggestions for improvements, they were planned and reviewed by the ergonomics committee to be deployed. And for the tracking of actions performed as well as the evolution and development of the natural process of indicators used to be focused on productive efficiency, human factors and quality of life for annual periods from 2004 to 2008.
