Research into the Development Strategy of Langfang City Convention- Ezhibition Economy

I. The overview of the convention-exhibition economic development in Lang fang City By taking advantage of its fine location, and in the background of national convention-exhibition economic boom, from holding Langfang Economic Trade Conference in 1998 to hosting HeBei Province Economic Trade Conference in 2000,Llangfang city convention-exhibition industry seized the opportunities of transferring from economic spot to the third largest economic plate---Bohai Rim, continuously holding May 18 Economic Trade conference for 5 years and hosting Oct, 18 China ( Northern ) Agricultural Products trade Fair for 8 years besides International Education Equipment Exhibition, China (International) Pipe Equipment Exhibition, China Motorcycle Parts exhibition as well as Sino-French AcademicForum in addition to other large-scale cultural activities and physical events. The continuous and steadily heating-up convention-exhibition industry has promoted urban construction and taste, meanwhile improved the hard and soft environment and the function of the city, put up a new platform for the development of convention-exhibition industry, formed good interaction between conventionexhibition industry and the city.
