The fast convention-exhibition economy development tendency becomes an interesting highlight, a high potential industry and a strong “booster of regional economic development. I. General situation of convention-exhibition economy in Langfang City Situated between Beijing and Tianjin, Langfang City makes full use of the fine location to quickly develop the convention-exhibition economy in the similar environment throughout the country. From hosting Langfang Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference in 1988 to presenting Hebei Province Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference. Langfang Citys convention-exhibition industry seized theopportunity of economic focus transferring to the third economic region---the Bohai Rim, to develop it itself gradually, lively and dynamically. Government of the Province permanently set the 5.18 Hebei Economic and Trade CooperationConference and 10.18 China Agricultural Products Trade Fair in Langfang City, and among other things, the North East Asia and the Bohai Rim International Cooperation For and Forum on International Finance will also permanently be set in Langfang City.
