INFLUENCE AXIAL VIBRATION DRILLING ON LATERAL BENDING DEFORMATION OF DRILL
According to theory of material mechanics, the equation of lateral bending deformation of drill was built and the inclination angle of drill tip was solved. And then the drilling test was done and the character of drilling force was analyzed. Based on this, the influence rule axial vibration drilling on lateral bending deformation of drill was studied deeply. The result shows that, the rise of cutting force will increase lateral bending deformation of drill and inclination angle of drill tip in drilling process, and lateral force is the main factor of bringing lateral bending deformation. By optimizing axial vibration parameter, axial vibration drilling can reduce lateral bending deformation and improve dimensional accuracy evidently.
