A STUDY ON SIMULATION OF DYNAMIC SCHEDULING FOR HOLONIC MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS

This paper deals with a dynamic scheduling system of the holonic manufacturing systems (HMS). A dynamic scheduling method based on the utility values are proposed and applied to the HMS. A simulation based dynamic scheduling method is carried out, in the paper, to improve the estimation process which enable all the holons to estimate the future status of the HMS. An estimation process is developed for the individual holons to estimate the future status of HMS through the simulation at aiming at improving scheduling method. Some case studies of the dynamic scheduling are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
