A RAD MODEL FOR INTEGRATING BU0SINESS PROCESSES AND KNOWLEDGE FLOWS
Nowadays in process management systems, business processes and knowledge flows can not be apart from each other. Considering the kinds of knowledge flows transferring from one to another, the knowledge carriers should be traced in the systems. To overcome the limitation of the single mapping from processes to knowledge flows, a RAD (Role Activity Diagram) based modeling method is proposed in this paper. The process roles in the RAD model act as the bridge between processes and knowledge flows by dividing the knowledge relationships into sequence, distribution, combination and reflexiveness, etc. This model of integrating processes and knowledge flows is minutely illustrated by an example of software development.
