ISO9001:2000, LEAN-SIX SIG MA AND CMMI-DEV INTERG RATION IN SMES FOR ENHANCING PORCESS IMPROVEMENT
This paper proposes an approach that integrates ISO9001:2000, Lean-Six Sigma and CMMIDEV for achieving process improvement by following continuous improvement and problem solving principles. Kaizen can assist enterprise to improve cooperation and communication. This implies to improve processes throughout interaction of processes. This approach is focused on eliminating or reducing non-valued of processes to meet customer requirements. Particularly, this paper implies to help SMEs that are implementing or applying ISO9001:2000 to expanding to CMMI-DEV. As result of ISO 90001:2000 requirements cover all generic practices of capability level (CL) 2-3 (managed process and defined process). To achieve capability level 4-5 (quantitatively and optimizing process), CL4 is focused on controlling quality and processes by using quantitative tools, while CL5 is focused on contributing continuous improvement. To take into account achievement CL 4 and 5, it is necessary to integrated ISO9001:2000, Lean-Six Sigma and CMMI-DEV.
