GREENING PHARMACEUTICAL SUPPLY CHAIN IN CHINA

摘要：

Global and domestic pressures on environment protection as well as health and safety drive Chinese government and enterprises to manage Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (PSC) green, i.e., improve the PSC environment performance by recycling the unused/expired drugs. Based on the literature and practice, a conceptual Green PSC (GPSC) network is designed and the environmental practices are recommended. However, there are various elements that have various impacts on GPSC decisions, including: 1) pharmaceutical product life cycle, 2) operational life cycle, 3) organizational performance criteria, and 4) organizational environmental practices. The influences and relationships among these elements are evaluated.
