Synchronization of the Unified Chaotic Systems with Disturbance and Uncertainty

Chaos synchronization of the unified chaotic systems subject to external disturbance and uncertainty is investigated. Based on the sliding mode control theory, the sliding mode controller is designed for the response system. The error system can be stabilized through partial states of the system which are controlled. The computing complexity and cost for controlling are reduced. At the same time, a generalized form of the modified exponential reaching law is proposed to reduce effectively the chattering caused by sliding mode control. The numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization controllers.
