On the Reliability of Information
It is pointed out that the reliability of information is largely ignored and the information that is not absolutely reliable is widely existent. The significance of studying the reliability of information is explicated. The consideration of the reliability of information in Shannon Information Theory is analyzed, and the relation between the reliability of information and the uncertainty of information is illustrated. It is clarified that the reliability of information is related to multi-uncertainty of event, that is, uncertainty of probability of event.
