An approach to Control Grid-side PWM Converters in Wind Power Generation Systems with Variable Structure Control and Ezact Linearization
Incorporating exact feedback linearization with sliding mode variable structure control strategy, a new control scheme of grid-side PWM converters in wind power generation systems is proposed in this paper. An affine nonlinear model of three phase voltage source PWM converter in the rotating frame d-q is obtained. The active and reactive power of the converter is decoupled using exact feedback linearization technique. The sliding-mode variable structure control algorithm is then applied for the decoupled converter. Finally, the simulation results show the presented scheme is effective.
