The Research on Description Method of Computer Operational Geographic Information in Wargame
Computer wargame system presents a new convenient and efficient method to simulate and research war, which realizes the computerization from the traditional manual wargame map to the digital wargame map. And exact operational geographic information becomes very important while the operational director making the game decisions. The paper learns from the mature raster data coding technique of GIS and introduces an especial method to support decision by dividing operational geographic information into several raster layers, and completes the complicated geographic information coding and information processing by using the Run-Length coding method of GIS. At the end of the paper, it also discusses the application of raster data in wargame map.
