DNA Computing in Control Systems: A Survey
A lot of challenging problems, which may be impossible to get the satisfied solutions via conventional methods, arise in control systems. As a new computing paradigm, DNA computing has shown its merits in solving complex NP-hard problems and attracts attentions from researchers in the control community. DNA computing provides a new methodology and direction for control system design. In this paper, after a brief introduction to the principle and developments of DNA computing, recent advances in DNA computing in system identification and controller design are surveyed. The future research directions and further work are discussed.
