The Conflict Resolution of Hardkill and Softkill Weapon in Fleet Cooperative Air Defense
The operational firepower compatibility of fleet chaff jamming shell (CJS) and ship-to-air missile (SAM) in fleet cooperative air defense is one of the basic patterns of fleet hardkill and softkill weapon firepower conflict. The model of the chaff cloud moving and the model of the position of SAM start-guiding point are established respectively in the paper. The characteristics of electromagnetic scattering from chaff cloud and the attenuation of chaff cloud to electromagnetic waves are investigated; the firepower compatibility model of CJS and SAM is given. By controlling the missile launching time, the jamming on the missile from chaff clouds can be avoided, thus the conflict between CJS and SAM is resolved. The model is validated in simulations and it has reference to the research in the related areas.
