Fuzzy Adaptive Terminal Control for Near Space Vehicle

An Exponential Terminal sliding mode control (ETSMC) based on fuzzy disturbance observer (FDO) is proposed for the near space vehicle NSV with violent changes of aero-dynamics parameters. To achieve high precision, an FDO is designed which improves the approximation ability of the observer on-line. The finite time convergence characteristic of TSMC improves the tracking speed ofthe flight control system. Combining TSMC with FDO, the flight quality is guaranteed. Finally, the simulations demonstrate the superiority of the FDO and the effectiveness of the closed-loop control scheme.
