New Results on Cell Metabolic Networks

Evolutionary forces will affect the structure of metabolic networks and their dynamic behaviors. To examine this hypothesis, in this work we investigate the relationship between the complication of the metabolic glycolytic networks and the production of important metabolites in different cells. Specially, we simulate the models about Sce, Dmgr, Dsmi, Pic in fungi; We develop the metabolic networks models of them by using the Michaelis-Menten equations which are rewritten by adding control variables to each biochemical reactions combined with mathematical methods. The results show that, more complicated the metabolic networks are, higher the yield of the production of important metabolites is.
