Geometrical Comparing the Avian Influenza Virus in different hosts
HPAI A (H5N1) is an avian disease. It is commonly known as avian influenza or bird flu because of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus of type A of subtype H5N1.It has made great progress in the research on the Avian Influenza A. This paper makes use of the Z curve method to visualize and analyze DNA sequences of H5N1.Z curve is a threedimensional space curve constituting the unique representation of a given DNA sequence. We select some DNA sequences of H5N1 (HA) from the NCBI database, which root in different hosts and occurred in the same areas and in the same years. Based on the Z Curve Theory, we map the relevant curves and compare them, then calculate the base content, respectively. The conclusion shows that the corresponding Z curves of different hosts indicate disparity in some degree. It means the aberrance or evolution of H5N1 (HA) has occurred.
