Emission characteristics of inhalable particulate matter from pulverized coal-fired boiler
An Andersen impacter was used to sample the fly ash particles from both the import and the export of a 220 t/h pulverized coal fired boiler, and the distributing character of inhalable particulate matter from both sides of the dust catcher under different loads was studied. It indicate that under different loads, the PM10 mass size for both sides of the dust catcher follows a similar bimodal distribution with peaks at 0.6μm and 3.32μm for the import, and 0.6μm and 2.27μm for the export. With the falling of load, the fly ash mass size concentration for both sides of the dust catcher will also become smaller. Under different operating mode, the minimum collection efficiency of the ESP appears in the particle size range of 0.43~0.6μm, and the ESP collection efficiency of PM1 and PM2.5 always falls with the load.
