Numerical Simulation and Ezperimental Research of Thermal Environment in An Air Conditioning Office

Air flow organization and thermal comfort of an air conditioning office were numerically simulated with k-ε turbulence model. The finite volume method and SIMPLE arithmetic were adopted to disperse and solve the differential equation. Distribution law of mean age of air, temperature nephogram, velocity nephogram, PMV nephogram and PPD nephogram was studied in this paper. Simulation results indicated that indoor thermal environment was health, comfortable and energy saving etc. Air temperature and speed in office zone were measured by multifunction admeasuring apparatus of TESTO445 type. The agreement between the measured data and the simulated results is quite well. In the design stage of air conditioning, CFD technology provides theoretical basis and scientific guidance for predicting indoor air flow organization, thermal comfort and optimizing design scheme of air conditioning.
