Ezperimental Study on Pretreatment of High Concentration Ammonia-Nitrogen Wastewater by TiO2 Photocatalysis
In order to reach a bigger NO2 -/NO3 -value in postprocessing of biological shortcut nitrification, the pretreatment of the ammoniac wastewater was carried out using TiO2 photocatalysis, and the optimizing reaction conditions were obtained. The results showed that after TiO2 pretreatment the NO2 -/NO3 -value in the wastewater was greater than 2 through adjusting the pH value of reaction solution, photocatalytic reaction time as well as controlling the initial ammonia-nitrogen concentration of 18.7mmol/L in wastewater. This technique also demonstrated that the TiO2 photocatalytic method is easy to maintain NO2 -accumulation steadily, and can also offer advantaged conditions for the enhancement of the following biological shortcut nitrification efficiency.
high concentration ammonia-nitrogen wastewater shortcut nitrification-denitrification TiO2 photocatalysis pretreatment
