Parameters Optimization of Modified A2O Process for Low Strength Municipal Wastewater Treatment
A pilot-scale anaerobic-anoxic-oxic (A2O) bioreactor with 125 m3·d-1 capacity was tested for treating real low strength municipal wastewater. The results showed that when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was 9.6 h, the sludge retention time(SRT) was 15 d, the sludge recycling ratio (SRR) and mixed liquor recycling ratio (MLRR) were 0.5 and 1.5 respectively, the effluent could meet the first A order(China GB18918-2002). It was suggested that the operational state could be well known according to the changes of DO & ORP on-line sensors.
