Energy-saving and emission reduction for ceramic sanitary ware based on computer aided engineering

Ceramic sanitary ware is one of the most important product in sanitary system that should be taken into consideration in energy-saving and emission reduction. Using computer aided engineering (CAE), an optimal design framework of water closet (WC) was constructed and the traditional WC design method was improved, resulting reduction of water consumption. Based on this framework, the traditional technological process was also improved by a fission structure design, decreasing the comprehensive energy consumption per unit products of WC 9.6-12 kgce and 12800-16000 tce per million products. The method reported in this paper might provide some useful information and is expected to promote the development of water-saving in urban residential water and energy-saving technology of ceramic sanitary ware.
