Health Assessment of Urban Landscape River
The studies on the assessment of urban landscape river health are scarce. The aggregative indicator approach, which is commonly used currently, has the deficiencies of burying the variance among the indicators and often results in imperfect answer. An integrated assessment procedure, combining the key limiting indicators with aggregative indicators, is put forward. The aggregative indicators system includes the indicator of 4 aspects, that is, vigour, resilience, organization and landscape services. DO concentration, velocities of flow, Water level satisfaction rate, channel solidification index, Shanner-weaver diversity index of macro-benthicinvertebrate and Smell intensity grade are screened out as key limiting indicators, and Bayes Discriminant Analysis is introduced as calculation method. The results of Zhuanhe River (an urban landscape river in Beijing urban area) health assessment show that the upstream and midstream are at healthy state, the downstream river is in middle-class sickness, and the channel solidification is the key limiting factor of downstream sickness.
