The Researches on the Reform of Quality Assurance System within New Zealands Tertiary Education

摘要：

The NZ tertiary education operating system contains four main elements: steering system, funding system, quality assurance system and monitoring system 1 In my paper I focus on studying the current reform of New Zealand quality assurance within tertiary education and give some recommendations. This paper points out that the audit fatigue, the change on aims of Quality Assurance (QA) and launch of managing for outcomes contribute to the shift of QA systems from audit to evaluative and outcome-focused approach. While implementing the new quality assurance system the following two aspects about outcome evaluation indicators and the investigation of the key processes contributing to outcomes should be paid more attention to.
