Path Choices for Scientific and Technological Innovation of Colleges:the Social Capital View

摘要：

The scientific and technological (S&T) innovation of colleges is an important component in national innovation system. This paper wants to study it in the social capital perspective. Through reviewing the relevant theory of social capital, the paper analyzes its effects on S&T innovation and cooperation of colleges and points out the path choice for S&T innovation of colleges in the social capital view: constructing co-operational social networks of S&T innovation; occupying a strategic position in the structure of social networks; establishing a trust mechanism in the cooperation network and forming a sense of shared system; and so on.
