Classroom Management and College English Reform--How to Manage an Oral English Class
College English teaching in china is undergoing great reforms, which are aimed to improve English learners practical ability. As a most important element, oral English has been put in a much higher position. Many colleges are beginning to open oral English as a relatively independent course with its own assessment system. This is no doubt a great progress in College English teaching. However, the problem is many college English teachers are lacking in experience of efficient classroom management in oral lessons. This paper tries to find out the barriers that are hindering the development of oral English teaching and explore the effective ways that can help to achieve efficient classroom management.
