Higher Educational Human Capital Support to Technological Innovation in China
Human capital has a crucial influence on technological innovation. The human capital support of higher education to technological innovation works on two channels, one is cultivating human capital for technological innovation, and the other is human capital in universities directly having R&D. Compared with developed countries, China gets behind in these two aspects. From now on, China should improve technological innovation by strengthening the practical working background of university teachers and the internationalization of higher education, building new and increasingly strong links between university and enterprise, promoting college patent transformation of achievements, emphasizing on quality of research papers, thus providing continuous human capital support for technological innovation.
