Research on the Teaching Methods of Literature Retrieval Course Based on the Scaffolding Theory

To enhance student information quality and strengthen student retrieval course skill is the aim of university bibliographic retrieval teaching. The scaffolding theory of knowledge and learning views knowledge not as pre-existing, but constructed. This paper probes into the concept of Scaffolding theory, analyzes the relation between the scaffolding theory and the teaching of literature retrieval course, and points out some strategies of applying the scaffolding theory in literature retrieval course.
