Study on Construction of Engineering Management Specialty Based on Niche Theory
For specialty construction of engineering management, it has an ecological relationship with environment and education resource. They depend and restrict each other essentially. A research is done for the specialty construction of newly built engineering management by adopting niche theory of ecology. In the paper, the conception of specialty niche is provided, and niche of engineering management specialty is analyzed too. Based on analysis, it can be concluded that reasonable orientation and dislocation development are core thoughts to develop newly built engineering management specialty. Reasonable orientation can be reflected in the aspects of direction, type and level. Dislocation development guides characteristics of specialty. Meanwhile, core competition can be constructed and developed to form sustainable and excellent advantages.
