The Cultivation of Tourism Undergraduates with Innovative Spirit and Practical Abilities
With the advent of knowledge-based economy, the demand for innovative talents is increasing. In order to maintain the vitality of tourism industry and meet the demand of tourism enterprises, universities must cultivate tourism undergraduates with innovative spirit and practical abilities. This paper analyzes the connotation of innovative spirit and practical abilities, and explains the significance of capacitybuilding. At last, the author puts forward how to cultivate the tourism undergraduates with innovative spirit and practical abilities from the five aspects, which are teaching plan, teaching methods and teachers, social practice and university atmosphere.
