The Pattern of University Teacher Engagement System in Foreign Countries and Its Enlightenment
The university teacher engagement system in America, Japan and Germany represents three typical patterns of engagement system respectively. On one hand, the engagement system can greatly arouse the vitality of the universities and promote academic level; on the other hand, it can also bring about too much emphasis on short-term performance, and reduce the charm of university post. Therefore, when China practices the teacher engagement system, we should pay attention to the mediating role of deliberative body in proposing and formulating related policies, and give full consideration to the negative effect of engagement system.
