Study on the Orientation and Training Characteristics of Higher Vocational Colleges
With the methods of theoretical studies and comparative analysis, this paper presents, for the realistic needs of social development, that the orientation and training characteristics of a higher vocational college relate to the healthy development and core competitiveness of higher vocational education, which is also an important factor for sustainable development of higher vocational colleges. The author holds the view that the orientation of a higher vocational college is the basis and prerequisite for sponsoring the creation of targeted training characteristics and the formation of personnel training characteristics is the accumulated crystallization in the process of longrunning practice. The paper draws the conclusion that the higher vocational colleges should draw attention to social needs, develop their own advantages, make scientific position with the employment-orientation, continuously update the concept of school and form characteristics of personnel training so as to promote healthy and sustainable development of vocational education.
