Study on Ultrasonic Imaging Testing Technique of Angle Probe for Girth Weld of Hydraulic Cylinder Used in Coal Mine
Taking girth weld of hydraulic cylinder used in coal mine as object, the principle of ultrasonic testing and method of ultrasonic scan imaging for angle probe are studied, the definitions of ultrasonic scan image for angle probe are given, and the corresponding relationship between scan image and artificial defect in the sample is analyzed in this paper. Then, the mathematical models of ultrasonic B-scan and Cscan imaging for artificial defect are established. Moreover, the experimental verification is carried out by using the ultrasonic imaging testing system. The results show that ultrasonic scan images are identical with description of mathematical models. And these lay a good foundation for locating, quantitative, and qualitative analysis of flaws.
