Ezploring Sub-THz Waves for Communications, Imaging, and Gas Sensing

摘要：

The development of technology that applies terahertz waves to industry is expected to play an important role in the creation of new industrial fields that meet social needs. This paper provides an overview of the needs-oriented approach to system integration, focusing on sub-THz source and detector technologies, and describes some of the latest applications, such as ultra-high-speed wireless links at speeds of over 10 Gbit/s, millimeter-wave scanner for concrete crack inspection, and standoff gas sensing.
