A Congestion Control Algorithm Based on Onboard IP Switching

摘要：

Onboard switching is a direction of satellite communication. Because of the limited satellite resources, the paper proposes an open-loop congestion control algorithm in onboard IP switches. We simply the RSVP in IP layer, in order to avoid the congestion in cache of onboard IP switches. The results of simulation show that the proposed algorithm can decrease the cell loss rate by sending path request message periodically.
